RoRo when it rolls. Flat racks, containers, or breakbulk when it doesn't. Open one to see best-for and watch-outs.
Best for
- Rolling stock: trucks, buses, heavy equipment
- Lower handling risk—drive on/drive off
- Faster port turns when it rolls
Watch-outs
- Must roll and brake; inoperable units need special handling

FAQ
Ocean freight + RoRo questions
Focused on timelines, documents, inland legs, and oversize handling.
How long does ocean freight shipping take?
Sailings and transit vary by lane. Give us origin/destination and ready date, and we’ll quote options with typical sail + port dwell.
When is RoRo a good option?
If it rolls and meets port drive-on rules, RoRo is often simpler and lower risk. If it can’t roll or is OOG, we’ll look at flat rack, breakbulk, or other methods.
Do you handle inland pickup and delivery?
Yes. We coordinate door-to-port, port-to-door, or door-to-door with the right trucks, escorts, and permits when needed.
What documents are required?
Typically commercial invoice, packing list, and for vehicles/equipment, title or ownership docs. We coordinate with your customs broker on any EEI/LOI filings.
Can you ship oversize or heavy equipment internationally?
Yes. We book RoRo decks, flat racks, or breakbulk and line up inland heavy haul with permits/escorts when required.
How are port fees and terminal handling handled?
We include estimated port/terminal handling and any drayage or inland haul in the quote. Final terminal fees can vary by terminal and dwell time.
What if the equipment can’t roll?
We’ll plan for lift-on/lift-off, flat rack, or breakbulk and make sure cranes/rigging are lined up.
Can you coordinate crating or securement?
Yes—tell us the commodity and handling needs. We can arrange blocking/bracing or crating with lead time.
